State of Grace Graphics offers 2 types of prints to fit any budget.     Open Edition Prints     Open edition prints are printed in unlimited quantities. They are generally lower priced than Limited edition. They are generally printed with the same inks as the giclees only on slightly less archival paper. The WILHIEM institute rating for these prints is over 60 years according to ink and paper types.     Limited Edition     These are print sizes that will only be printed in limited numbers. At this time most of my prints are editions of 50. I do intend to increase my number of prints per edition as I add more art to my galleries. All my LIMITED EDITION prints are "giclee". They are printed on heavy matt (non-glossy) paper. The WILHIEM institute rating for these prints is over 60 years according to ink and paper types.     A note on Giclees     Giclees are simply hi-end expensive prints. A giclee (zhee-CLAY) is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity reproduction done on a special large format printer. Giclees are produced from digital scans of existing artwork. Giclees can be printed on any number of media, from canvas to watercolor paper. Giclees are superior to traditional lithography in several ways. The colors are brighter, last longer, and are so high-resolution that they are virtually continuous tone. The color for giclees is far beyond that of lithography, and details are crisper.
